Merry Ostara!

At 6:45 PM today (Eastern time) we will be at the Vernal Equinox, thus beginning Spring!  Tomorrow is the first full day of Spring and we are expecting some beautiful weather to bring it in right.  Pagans in the Northern Hemisphere will be celebrating Ostara this weekend... And what an incredible start -- the Solar Eclipse this morning with the "supermoon"!

Much to my surprise when wandering across the web and needing to search for something, discovered a link to
It's International Day of Happiness. Join the party for a happy planet.
I found that very amusing.

I was also recently introduced to the concept of keeping a gratitude journal.  The idea is to write down 5 different things each day for thirty days that you are grateful for.  Nothing can be repeated.  So, you end up with 150 items of gratefulness.  That is a challenge.  To pare it down, how about this:  Can you list 5 things you are grateful for today at the beginning of Spring?  If you reply in the comments, make sure that you do not repeat what someone else is thankful for...

Start now!  :-)

Bright Blessings, my friends.

Vincit qui patitur.

  1. Ok, trying again... I don't think my first post worked.
My 5 things that I am grateful for:
    1. Family
    2. Friends
    3. Flowers
    4. Forests
    5. Comfort Food
So, I have covered the "F"s... What is your letter? :-)
